Our Story
While at lunch with friends talking about normal activities, our dear friend, Steve Chamberland, who himself is a right, below the knee, “ BKA”, amputee, stated to Vinny, “try taking a shower with one leg” next thing you know, two weeks later, Vinny invented The Shower Leg!
Our mission is to assist amputees in achieving further independence with every day activities of life.
Meet The Founders, Vinny & Carol Ann Fleming
Vinny and Carol Ann Fleming. Vinny is retired FDNY. Carol Ann is retired disabled United States Air Force/Air Force reserve of 23 years. Carol Ann is also a retired emergency room nurse at Bay Pines VA hospital. Together they consider themselves “the heartbeat of America”.
